Brass folding handle and period stepped corner feet and magnetic door catch. Bevelled glass on all 4 sides allowing full view of the highly polished movement. Solid brass dial with silver plated chapter ring. The case is all English Made from solid Yew and applied with a substantial burr yew veneer and beautifully hand polished. The high quality triple chime movement gives you a choice of St.Michael, Whittington and Westminster chimes. Chimes every quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 8 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound.
