Cultured Pearl and 18ct gold Mikimoto Pearls circle bow brooch
A Mikimoto open circle brooch comprising of 11 Akoya cultured pearls joining with an 18ct yellow gold stylised bow at 4 o’clock. The brooch is mounted in all 18ct yellow gold and on the reverse traditional struck UK hallmarks and the pin closes securely into a roll over safety catch.
Kokichi Mikimoto, the founder of Mikimoto, is renowned for successfully creating the world’s first cultured pearls over a Century ago in 1893. His dedication extended beyond cultivation to crafting exquisite jewellery, blending Japanese craftsmanship with design influences from around the world. Measurements - 27mm diameter | This striking brooch has 2 clusters one set with blue zircons and a pink tourmaline and the other with garnets and a green tourmaline, these are set either side of 14ct yellow gold leaves with Akoya cultured pearls ends. Sat upon this is a gold bee with diamond set pierced platinum wings with a ruby eye. This is a unique brooch made to an exceptional standard.
