Made by specialist Birmingham jewellers Alabaster and Wilson Length 3.3cm | 9ct gold Naval Crown brooch. The sails of the brooch are done with a brushed finish and the prows with a polished finish. Size: 3.2cms wide x 1.9cms high Made by Alabaster and Wilson | A platinum hand pierced Naval Crown Sweetheart brooch set with 38 eight cut diamonds. The circlet at the base is set with nine diamonds and above this there are alternating diamond set sails and sterns of ships. All the diamonds are secured with grain settings. On the reverse the pin fastens in to a handmade safety catch. There are no hallmarks on this brooch which one would expect with the age of this piece as no hallmark for platinum existed before 1975. The brooch measures 28mm x 16mm Second Hand | A very stylish brooch made in the form of a Tennis Racquet. The racquet is bordered with brilliant cut diamonds, and the ball is domed to give a 3D look, is also encrusted with diamonds. The strings of the racquet are made in gold and all woven to give a very realistic look. The handle grip is made from 4 cabochon cut rubies in a graduated size. The pin is secured with a traditional rollover catch.
