Peridot single stone and 15ct gold bar brooch
A bright and beautiful single round Peridot mounted on a 15ct yellow gold bar brooch. The Peridot is mounted in a solid rub-over setting with a very fine millegrain bead edge which is held with 4 fine twisted wires on either side. To the reverse is a rose gold pin closing into a handmade safety ‘c’ catch and a clear ’15CT’ punch dating this piece to the early 20th Century. There is a ring for a safety chain to be added which we would recommend and supply with compliments.

Measurements - 63mm W x 8mm H Second Hand | An unusual brooch in the shop of a Flower Seller, the flower seller is made of a heart cut amethyst body and a pair of almandine garnets for her skirt, the face is coral for skin colour and she is holding a bouquet of flowers of mixed gems. The Flower stall is mage in 9ct yellow gold with baskets on either side and set with more gemstons and also Akoya cultured pearls for the flowers all set under a canopy of a 9ct white and rose gold umbrella. This is a ,most exquisite brooch that will certainly be a talking point. Gemstones are: Garnet, Almandine Garnet, Citrine, Amethyst, Blue Zircon Measures 3.6cms wide x 3.0cms High Handmade in Birmingham by Alabaster & Wilson Established 1887 Circa 1965 Second Hand | This is a beautiful multi gemstone spray basket brooch. All of this is set upon a handmade basket made out of 9ct yellow gold with a curving handle with gold leaves around the piece. Gemstones are: Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Blue Zircon and Pink Tourmaline. Measures 3.4cms wide x 4.4cms High Handmade in London by Cropp & Farr Established 1917 London 1971 Second Hand | 9ct gold Naval Crown brooch. The sails of the brooch are done with a brushed finish and the prows with a polished finish. Size: 3.2cms wide x 1.9cms high Made by Alabaster and Wilson | Naval Cap sweetheart Regimental brooch in 15ct yellow gold with green and red enamelled Kings Crown. The fouled anchor centre is assumed to be platinum surrounded by 15ct gold laurel leaves. On the reverse the pin fastens securely in a handmade rollover safety catch and '15CT' is clearly stamped at the bottom in the centre. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces.
