Comes in Original Fitted case Circa 1910 Second Hand Length 5.9cms | A very stylish brooch made in the form of a Tennis Racquet. The racquet is bordered with brilliant cut diamonds, and the ball is domed to give a 3D look, is also encrusted with diamonds. The strings of the racquet are made in gold and all woven to give a very realistic look. The handle grip is made from 4 cabochon cut rubies in a graduated size. The pin is secured with a traditional rollover catch. Measures 61mm x 23mm Second Hand Supplied in our own Luxury Presentation Box | This is an individual brooch by the superb makers E. Wolfe & Co. established in 1850 and specialise in making bird and animal jewellery, with each piece being unique. The Alsation is made from 18ct gold, which is exquisitely hand chased to create the effect of the fur. Set with cabochon cut Sapphires for its eyes and with black onyx set for its nose. The piece is completed with an 18ct white gold moveable collar set with a diamond for that added luxury. Secured with a Trombone brooch fastener for safety, this gives it extra strength in how it supports the brooch. The gold has been cut like the veins on a leaf and catch the light when worn. All gemstones are held by four claw settings and are mounted on the surface of the leaves. The pin is securely fastened with a handmade tiffany safety catch.
