Blue Zircon, Amethyst and multi gem spray brooch, with gold butterflies, 9ct white gold mount
A visually striking brooch of superb craftsmanship and quality. The brooch is in the style of delphiniums set with a two row spray of amethysts graduating towards the tip alongside a similar spray of blue zircons, set with foliage in 9ct white gold with two yellow gold butterflies with textured wings for detail, one with open wings and one closed. The spray is all tied with a white gold bow, set with a cluster of multi gemstones, garnet, blue zircon, citrine, pink and green tourmalines.

With blue enamelled Moto and Regiment within the Garter and scroll and central shield bearing the Ordnance Arms with blue, white and red enamelling, and finished with the red enamelled Kings Crown. Excellent condition for the enamel and craftsmanship. The gold is all with a lovely satinised finish, and is secured with a handmade Tiffany catch. Measures 2.4cm wide x 3cm high Supplied in a Connards presentation box Second Hand | Indian Medical Service sweetheart brooch with a gold laurel wreath surrounding the latin Moto - "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" all enamelled in blue with gold serpent and staff in the centre. To the bottom "INDIAN MEDICAL SERVICE" in a blue enamelled ribbon and at the top a King's crown in gold and red enamel. All made in 9ct yellow gold. On the reverse the pin fastens with a handmade tiffany catch and clearly punched full hallmark. The fouled anchor centre is assumed to be platinum surrounded by 15ct gold laurel leaves. On the reverse the pin fastens securely in a handmade rollover safety catch and '15CT' is clearly stamped at the bottom in the centre. The brooch would have been made before 1932, as that is when they stopped using 15ct gold. This was always reserved for the higher quality pieces. The different cuts of stones gives variety and style. All of this is set upon a handmade basket made out of 9ct yellow gold with a curving handle with gold leaves around the piece. Gemstones are: Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Blue Zircon and Pink Tourmaline. Measures 3.4cms wide x 4.4cms High Handmade in London by Cropp & Farr Established 1917 London 1971 Second Hand | This striking brooch is in the form of three 18ct yellow gold leaves set with fifteen graduating rubies on the centre leaf, five scattered diamonds on the left leaf and the right hand side leaf has been left plain. The gold has been cut like the veins on a leaf and catch the light when worn. All gemstones are held by four claw settings and are mounted on the surface of the leaves. The pin is securely fastened with a handmade tiffany safety catch.
