Cultured Pearl and 18ct gold Mikimoto Pearls circle bow brooch
A Mikimoto open circle brooch comprising of 11 Akoya cultured pearls joining with an 18ct yellow gold stylised bow at 4 o’clock. The brooch is mounted in all 18ct yellow gold and on the reverse traditional struck UK hallmarks and the pin closes securely into a roll over safety catch.
Kokichi Mikimoto, the founder of Mikimoto, is renowned for successfully creating the world’s first cultured pearls over a Century ago in 1893.
