King’s Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch “KING”S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS”. Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls “IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA” A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch.
The piece is made in three separate pieces, the most expensive method of making and all riveted at the back. To the rear the 9ct gold pin securely fastens in a C catch.There are no hallmarks on the brooch.
Measures 27mm wide x 32mm tall

The circlet at the base is set with nine diamonds and above this there are alternating diamond set sails and sterns of ships. All the diamonds are secured with grain settings. On the reverse the pin fastens in to a handmade safety catch. There are no hallmarks on this brooch which one would expect with the age of this piece as no hallmark for platinum existed before 1975. The brooch measures 28mm x 16mm Second Hand | Indian Medical Service sweetheart brooch with a gold laurel wreath surrounding the latin Moto - "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" all enamelled in blue with gold serpent and staff in the centre. To the bottom "INDIAN MEDICAL SERVICE" in a blue enamelled ribbon and at the top a King's crown in gold and red enamel. All made in 9ct yellow gold. On the reverse the pin fastens with a handmade tiffany catch and clearly punched full hallmark. Handmade by Cropp & Farr in London established 1917 Hallmarked for Birmingham 1948 Measures 20mm wide x 27mm high Supplied in a Connards Presentation box | Platinum and Rose diamond set RAF initials, positioned above a green enamel wreath background, adorned with a red enamel Kings crown. Finished off with the traditional pair of textured yellow gold wings. The letters of the RAF are made from platinum and the remainder of the brooch is from the finest 15ct yellow gold. Maesures 40mm wide x 14mm tall Second hand | The Loyal Regiment, regimental bar brooch, 9ct gold mount with red enamelled Rose of Lancaster and blue enamelled ribbon motto surmounted by a the Royal Crest, a crowned lion standing on a red enamelled Kings Crown. Excellent condition of enamel and gold. The brooch is secured in place with a handmade Tiffany catch.
