King’s Own Scottish Borderers Regimental sweetheart brooch exquisitely made 18ct gold and enamel. In the centre of the yellow gold cross of St Andrew in white gold is Edinburgh Castle with three turrets and each with a flag flying to the left. The castle is surrounded in a blue enamel circlet at the back of the brooch “KING”S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS”. Above and below the circlet within blue enamel scrolls “IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA” A wreath of green enamel thistles with purple flowers surrounds the circlet and the Royal Crest with red enamelled St Edwards Crown surmounts the brooch.
The piece is made in three separate pieces, the most expensive method of making and all riveted at the back. To the rear the 9ct gold pin securely fastens in a C catch.There are no hallmarks on the brooch.
Measures 27mm wide x 32mm tall

With blue enamelled Moto and Regiment within the Garter and scroll and central shield bearing the Ordnance Arms with blue, white and red enamelling, and finished with the red enamelled Kings Crown. Excellent condition for the enamel and craftsmanship. The gold is all with a lovely satinised finish, and is secured with a handmade Tiffany catch. A circular gold wreath surrounds the whole piece and it finished with the Kings crown with red enamel. This is a set on a gold bar brooch. The gold used is stamped 15ct on the bar and the emblem itself is engraved by hand with 15ct. Measures 45mm wide x 23mm tall Second hand | Platinum and Rose diamond set RAF initials, positioned above a green enamel wreath background, adorned with a red enamel Kings crown. Finished off with the traditional pair of textured yellow gold wings. The letters of the RAF are made from platinum and the remainder of the brooch is from the finest 15ct yellow gold. To the bottom "INDIAN MEDICAL SERVICE" in a blue enamelled ribbon and at the top a King's crown in gold and red enamel. All made in 9ct yellow gold. On the reverse the pin fastens with a handmade tiffany catch and clearly punched full hallmark.
